Competition is a different mindset

I've found that competition makes you work harder. Can't really tell it from my recent rankings, but I find that when I've got two shots in the record and there's only a minute left it does a wonderful job of focusing your mind. You don't have the luxury of dismissing a bad shot like you would when just fooling around at the range.
